Using the Christian magazines Top Story and World, the Upper School students discuss current events issues from a Biblical perspective. We begin our discussion by choosing an article of interest to read together. After we finish reading the article, our Socratic-style discussion begins in which the students take turns both sharing and listening to each other's opinions. We have discussed some of the following issues: protecting the environment, terrorism and new discoveries in science.
