An important component of our Science curriculum is Nature Study. During this time, the student is encouraged to spend time observing nature, the wonders of creation. Following this time of discovery, he will write down such observations in his Nature Notebook. Lastly, the student draws a detailed sketch of his nature selection into his Nature Notebook. Charlotte Mason writes, "From the flower in the crannied wall to the glorious firmament on high, all the things of Nature proclaim without ceasing, 'Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God almighty.'"
